The first phase of credit card reform legislation recently came into effect, giving consumers a better chance to pay down their credit card debt, but it would appear that credit card companies have already found ways to circumvent the rules and have discovered loopholes in the law.

College is a great learning experience in many ways, but for many students it’s also the place where they make their first big, financial stumble-using a credit card to bury themselves in debt.

Consumers who are struggling to repay their credit card debt and other debts are being advised to ensure that they seek help from industry professionals to avoid getting into too much of a financial mess.
In the current financial climate, and with the recession leading to massive job losses, many people are now struggling to keep on top of their unsecured debts such as credit cards and loans, and this could lead to huge problems in the future.
